Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensure complete familiarity with special dietary needs of children within the centre
  • Prepare morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and late snack
  • Weekly stock take and ordering
  • Maintain and ensure a high level of cleanness and hygiene
  • Multi tasking and able to stick to a strict time schedule
  • Clean and wash dishes

Qualifications and Skills

  • Relevant food handling certificates
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • Basic training in Food Safety and Nutrition
  • Experience in preparing and cooking nutritiously balanced meals
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Cert III Early Childhood Education preferred
