Responsible Educator

Join the professional and supportive team at our Furneaux Child Care Centre on Flinders Island.

Responsibilities:

  • Meeting the individual personal and educational needs of all children.
  • Providing effective quality care.
  • Ensuring that the program abides by and operates within the organisation’s policies and procedures
  • Maintaining effective team work.
  • Actively undertakes the roles and responsibilities of a Responsible Person, Educational Leader or both as required.

Applicants should have:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care OR currently working towards this qualification.
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Basic understanding of the EYLF and NQF
  • A current Working With Vulnerable Peoples Card
  • A current First Aid Certificate OR can obtain one.
