Experienced Educator - Full Time!
The Green Elephant Early Learning Centre is looking for an outstanding and experienced educator for our toddler room at our state-of-the-art Rosebery service.
This is a full time position. Our service is open from 7am-6pm, 52 weeks of the year and we have 69 children per day. We are conveniently located near buses and a short walk from Green Square train station.
To be successful in your new role you will have:
- A Certificate III (with minimum three years experience) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Demonstrated solid understanding of:
- National Quality Framework (NQF)
- Early years learning framework (EYLF)
- A passion for play based educational practices
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- A true passion for working with children
- Strong leadership qualities
- Great communication Skills
- Ability to work in and lead a team
- Current working with children check
In addition to above you will also:
- Pride yourself on your curriculum planning, documentation and practice
- Have knowledge of the stages of child development
- Provide supervision and assistance to other educators
