Educator Assistant

Certificate III assiatant with some experience needed to work in a small  early learning centre in the southern suburb of Melbourne.

The Centre currently has 25 children and two rooms.  You will be working with a small team so confidence and flexibility is essential.  You will be supported and guided by the director at all times, friendly, flexible, fun, suppportive and professional working environment.  You will have the ability to take instructions and guidance, work with others easily, adapt to quick changes in routine, and you will have a happy disposition.  Ample resources are available.

The successful applicant will be mainly assisting the ECT in the kinder room, the educator will be repsonsible for room set up, clearing rooms for activities, setting up activities, cleaning, organising, toileting children, engaging and supervising children while at work and at play.  The successful applicant will have ample opportunity to learn along the way with the chance to be able to also lead some group time if the qualities and interest is recognised.  If you feel you have these qualities please enquire for an interview asap.  A phone interview will be the first step and a face to face interview will follow.
