About this Opportunity:
An opportunity has become available for an experienced educator to join the team in our Kindergarten room. We are seeking a dedicated, warm and motivated Teacher who is passionate about working with children and is committed to providing high quality teaching.
Help us implement a dynamic & exciting program, reflecting each child’s individual interests, and create a stimulating, fun filled environment that encourages lifelong learning.
It will be your responsibility to demonstrate leadership, communicate positively and professionally with parents, maintain the children's developmental records to a high standard, and use your knowledge of the QKLG program for each child.
This is a unique opportunity to become part of our team, who in collaboration, are working to create a community that values children, families, staff and the environment. You will also support the Child Care centre in meeting the National Quality Framework, EYLF and National regulations.
About You:
To be considered for this role, ideally we are looking for;
- Support the Vision, Mission and Values of The Salvation Army. As an employee of The Salvation Army you will required to actively encourage and support the ministry of The Salvation Army within the centre.
- Hold an ACECQA approved Early Childhood Teacher Qualification
- Current approved Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid, Child Protection and Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate
- A passion for Early Childhood Education and Care with prior experience leading a room within a child care centre.
- The ability to foster warm and caring relationships with all families and children.
- Be motivated to work within a team environment.
- Reliable, organised, attention to detail for classroom duties
- Self motivated, effective communication skills and a team player
