ECT-Early Childhood Teacher
We are a privately run Childcare Centre in Westfields Eastgardens looking for a full-time ECT to join our friendly team of educators. Above rate of pay and your only required to work 8 hours a day.
As an Early Childhood Teacher you must bring your own passion for working with children to our supportive team to provide quality education and care services. You will work with a team of dedicated educators to create a stimulating, positive and inclusive environment that reflects the Early Years Learning Framework whilst maintaining the elements of the National Quality Standards (NQS). You will be required to look after our School Readiness Program and work together with current educators on observations and evaluation of children's development to support their learning outcomes. You will also engage with families and the community.
The right candidate for this role will have the following:
- Hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching Certificate or Studying Towards
- A Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Previous experience in a similar role (at least 1 year) or working towards will be excepted.
- Demonstrated knowledge of NQS, NQF and EYLF
- The ability to form warm, responsive relationships with children & parents
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Qualifications
