JSA Graduate Teacher
Campus Life, within Macquarie University, is currently seeking casual Graduate Teachers to join the friendly and supportive Junior Science Academy Program team.
You'll join a fun and inclusive team of dedicated professionals focused on the provision of educational programs for children during school holiday periods. Surrounded by a beautiful parkland campus, we're well resourced, and focused on continuous improvement.
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering interactive, educational programs to primary aged children in a fun and enjoyable manner.

Essential Criteria
- Availability to work regularly during school holiday periods
- Degree in Education (Primary or Secondary)
- Have an excellent work ethic and be a motivated self-starter
- Understanding of appropriate behaviour management techniques
- Current First Aid qualification and approved Working With Children Check
- Approval as a Teacher with NSW DEC, with related certifications (e-Emergency certificate; Anaphylaxis certificate, WHS training)
- Minimum 'Provisional' teacher status with BOSTES
- Demonstrated knowledge of Child Protection and safety principles and willingness to abide by these
- Understanding of the NSW Education syllabus and experience as a Teacher in NSW schools will be highly regarded.
- High school science teachers and primary teachers with a science background or training will be highly regarded.
