St Paul's Lutheran Child Care Centre is a community not for profit 58 place Christian service located in the heart of Nundah. Our service is seeking a dedicated and experienced cook/chef to join our team.  The position is part time, 30 hours a week, Monday to Friday. 

The successful applicant must have experience working in a similar position, excellent time management skills, food safety qualification and a good understand of nutrition.

  • Hold a current paid blue card.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a kitchen.
  • Have experience in planning menus, ordering supplies and sustainable food practices. 

Desirable

  • Hold a current first aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training.
  • Hold or be working towards a Certificate III in Health Support Services.
  • Certificate III in Children's Services an advantage though not essential. 
  • Up to date Food Safety Training.
