Part Time Diploma & Cert 3 positions - Burwood Centre

We are looking for qualified & experienced educators to join our team. Initially it will be part time or casual basis and will lead to full time position as our centre grows

We are looking for educators who possess key attributes and have passion for working within the early childhood industry. 

Successful applicants must hold the appropriate qualification for the desired position they are applying for. They must also hold a working directly with children check. First aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training is a plus. 

Early Childhood Teacher responsibilities:

  • Planning and implementing the educational program which values each child's individual needs
  • Maintaining ongoing records of the children's development, program and daily journals 
  • Assisting with daily centre tasks 
  • Assuring the high quality of services in consideration of the National Quality Standards
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant Government Regulations
  • Guiding team members with their professional development, individual goals and performance as educational leader

Diploma/Lead Educator responsibilities:

  • Supervising the children at all times
  • Preparing new daily learning experiences
  • Able to implement the EYLF into daily activities and routines
  • Create a stimulating and positive environment for the children
  • Writing observations and reflecting on the children's progression and development
  • Completing portfolios for families
  • Conducting group times
  • Preparation of meals
  • Assisting with daily centre tasks
