ECT or Diploma Studying Educator

Nickys Kids Town  is looking for an ECT or Diploma studying ECT to be our Educator in 0 to 2 years room. . This is a fulltime role however we would consider a job share permanent part-time. Nickys Kids Town has been operating for 25 years and we value our staff and pay award wages.plus bonuses. We offer flexible hours, self rostering and encourage professional development.

We are seeking an educator to  lead our 0-2 years room.You will be working alongside another Diploma qualified teacher with the support from our non teaching director. We are a single stand alone centre, with a happy working environment, well resourced classrooms and value further training and provide opportunities for this. The centre is staffed above the required ratios and we have a Reggio inspired approach to learning and a strong focus on sustainability and inclusion.

Must Have Skills:

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or Diploma or equivalent
  • Initiative
  • Ability to work cooperatively within a team of educators
  • Understanding of and experience using the N.Q.F. and E.Y.L.F.
  • Current Education and Care First Aid Training
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working with Children Check
  • A love of children and passion for Early Years Education
