Service Leader

St John’s Lutheran Kindergarten, Bundaberg is seeking to employ a Contact Service Leader to oversee the day to day management of the 24 place Kindergarten and work in partnership with the Teacher to provide a play based learning environment.

St John’s Lutheran Kindergarten provides a high quality early childhood educational program that is delivered by professional educators in a nurturing Christian environment.

The ideal candidate for this Contact Service Leader position will have:

  • ACECQA Approved Early Childhood qualifications – Diploma or higher
  • First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management
  • Valid Blue Card
  • Focused on positive outcomes for all children through a Quality Early Childhood Educational Program
  • The ability to uphold the Christian Ethos of the Service
  • Experience in working with all mixed age groups of children
  • Experience in staff management and rostering
  • Experience in working within service budget
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills with families and all stakeholder
  • Working alongside  St John’s Lutheran Primary School,  Lutheran Church Community, Local Community Groups and St John’s OSHC to form a learning community
  • Knowledge of all relevant and current legislation including Early Years Learning Framework, Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline and The National Quality Framework
