Early Childhood Teacher

Butterflies International Early Learning and Childcare Centre is looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to work full-time.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • Must hold a Bachelor of Teaching (0-5) or Bachelor of Education (0-5), or an ACECQA approved Early Childhood Degree or equivalent.
  • Must hold a current First Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Training or be willing to undertake training.
  • Must have a minimum 2 years’ experience.
  • Must have a current Working with Children Check Number
  • Knowledge of the National Quality Framework i.e. National Regulations, National Quality Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Must hold NESA teacher accreditation or be working towards.

  • A professional approach.
  • Capacity to inspire and motivate others and to lead a team.
  • You must be able to develop and implement anti-bias, developmentally appropriate programs relevant for children in your care.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Initiative and capacity to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment.

What we offer:

- Salary: $55,000 to $75,000 per annum depending on experience.
