Cire Services Inc. is an advanced, community based, not for profit organisation. Cire operates a range of services to meet community needs through education and provision of services.

  • We are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) offering accredited, pre-accredited, work skills and leisure courses.
  • Our Community School, a registered independent school, provides secondary curriculum to students in an alternative school environment.
  • Family and Children’s Services supports children’s services for long day care, pre-school programs, occasional care, vacation care and before and after school care.
  • Community Hubs, bringing people together to connect, learn and contribute in their local community through social, education, recreational and support activities.

A Day in the Life of our Assistant Educators

Your days will be fun, challenging and varied. Working as part of a team, you will be arranging play spaces that are inviting and encourage children to express themselves creatively. 

Supporting and assisting in the ongoing sharing of information with families in relation to the care, welfare and development of their children.  You will support and assist in the provision of a program that is innovative, culturally appropriate and values individual needs. 

Additionally, you will complete fortnightly observations as part of the individual child’s program and support and assist in the provision of a safe environment for children.

Who Are You?

As a professional dedicated to supporting the development and wellbeing of children, you will have experience in a similar role. Holding a Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care at a minimum, you will have a great understanding of program development, behaviour management and pride yourself on engaging effectively with children.

As a personable, friendly and respectful individual, you will build strong relationships with families, focused on trust and communication. 

You will hold a Working With Children Check, a clean police record (Cire will arrange as required) and current First Aid certifications.

This is a full time position (38 hours per week) located in Mount Evelyn (3796).
