Kindergarten Teacher for LDC wanted for immediate start.

Wellington Point Early Learning & Kindergarten is seeking a dedicated and passionate Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our team and run our QLD Government Approved Kindergarten Program.
You will be an education professional who embraces the National Quality Framework and provides educational programs of excellence in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines. A knowledge of Forest School principles and a love of nature play would be an asset.
The successful applicant will have a current working knowledge of the EYLF, QKLG, NQS and an understanding of the Education and Care National Regulations.
The Kindergarten program starts in late January and finishes early December. It runs between 8.30am to 4.00pm daily and you will be expected to work a 7.5 hour shift to cover these times. In addition to the Kindergarten Program, you would be required to complete all other duties necessary for the successful running of a room in a long day care centre (e.g. setting up, packing away, maintaining hygiene, effective supervision and interactions with children). Staff meetings, programming time, uniforms, professional development and first aid /CPR renewals are paid by the employer.
As a full-time employee, you receive 6 weeks paid annual Leave, 10 days personal leave, and are paid for public holidays.
- 4-Year Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood, or ACECQA approved equivalent.
- Current teaching registration / QKFS registration
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or exemption card
- Current CPR and First Aid (inclusive of Asthma & Anaphylaxis Emergency Management) Certificates ( or willingness to obtain these within one month of commencement )
- At least two years’ experience as a Kindergarten Teacher in a long day care setting
