The AIS Caretaker’s Cottage Childcare Centre is a 48-place long day care centre for children aged from birth to 5 years. Care is primarily provided for children whose parents are employed by the Australian Sports Commission. The Centre operates under National Regulations and National Law and complies with National Quality Standards. The centre has been awarded the Excellent rating by the Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority. 

The centre is staffed by 17 educators, support staff, and a pool of casual staff. 

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team of highly motivated childcare professionals that values excellence, innovation and professional development. We are looking for an experienced Educator who values continuous improvement, is enthusiastic to learn why we do things the way we do, and wants a workplace where there are opportunities for mentoring and growth. 

To be successful in this role, you will have or be working towards a Diploma in Children’s Services, have demonstrated experience in early childhood settings, and a demonstrated capacity to work with a team with a commitment to reflective practice and ongoing professional learning. In this role you will be mentored by a Senior Early Childhood Educator to develop your leadership skills. 

Salary range = $54,121 - $58,452 per annum + up to 15.4% superannuation
