Cert III Qualified Studying Diploma Needed

An opportunity has arisen for passionate and experienced educators with a love of working with children to join our high quality service in Morayfield. Our family owned centre is supported by an external management company so you will have extended professional support in your quest to excel in this position. This position will be as a float role cooking and driving the centre bus (so for insurance purposes you must be over 25years old). 

This position will suit experienced Cert III studying Diploma or Diploma qualified Educators.

The position encompasses the following:

  • Providing quality childcare, supervision and support to the children, families and other staff members at our service
  • Ensuring the centre is compliant with all state legislation and NQF standards
  • Assisting with delivering a program compliant with the learning frameworks and based around the children's interests
  • Delivering consistent high quality care and presentation to all work practices
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with centre staff, parents, children and the wider community
  • Working alongside a friendly and diverse team in a newly opened childcare centre
  • Working in a well-resourced centre with large natural environments

To be successful in your application you must have the following:

  • Either Certificate III in Children's Services qualified and be working towards a Diploma, or a Diploma in Children's Services 
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma and CPR qualifications
  • Ability to provide a rich and stimulating environment to all children
  • Professional attitude
  • Effective and competent communicator
  • Empathy, motivation, inspiration and a genuine love for the education of children
  • Ability to work with a supportive network, i.e. Director, Assistant Director/Educational Leader and external management company
  • A high attention to detail, ability to provide an organised room environment and work within a fast paced environment
  • Experience working collaboratively with others
  • A true love and passion for working with children
  • An advantage would be someone with experience as a centre cook and bus driver
