Two positions: Diploma Educator 3-4 days and a Cert III or Diploma 3-5 days 10:00-4:30
Diploma Educator 3 or 4 days = 25-34 hours per week working in the 2.5 - 4 or 3.5 -5 age group. Work in a team with 2-3 other Educators to provide an education and care program that provides a sense of belonging and inspires a love learning. The position is for 3 or 4 days per week (whichever works best for you). The centre is open from 8:00am - 6:00pm Monday - Friday with varying Educator shifts which include: 8:00-5:15 / 8:15-5:30 / 8:30-5:45 / 8:45-6:00. Our programs are indoor/outdoor programs (predominantly outdoor). Your daily shift will include a 15 minute morning and afternoon tea break and a 45 minute lunch break.
Certificate III or Diploma Educator to cover breaks 3, 4 or 5 days per week (your choice) 10:00 - 4:30. The position of for 3, 4 or 5 days per week, whichever works best for you. You will be covering the morning and afternoon tea breaks and lunch breaks of Educators within the centre. The shift is from 10:00am - 4:30pm and includes 1/2 hour lunch break and 15 minute afternoon tea break. You will be expected to have knowledge of all ages groups and be flexible and capable of fitting into any room and be able to both follow the routine and use a good level of initiative so that you are supportive and helpful to the Educator team.

The Family Club has a very strong and long history which makes it not just a child care centre but a place of strength and character which has the spirit of the women who created it 57 years ago with a drive to develop an environment where children thrive, one of the first in Australia.
Being a small community based not-for-profit ELC we have a very supportive parent Board of Management and small educator team, all of which develops a strong community whose focus is to support each other and to create the best environment for the children.
MUFCC employs staff on The Professional Childcare Standard Agreement and pays 2.5 % above this award. Staff are employed 3-4 days week (up to a 68 hrs fortnight with the option to pick up extra days to cover staff absences within your team).

The centre currently has Degree and Diploma Trained staff working in each room.

- Each room has 4 hours of planning for the Team Leader and 1-2 hours for other Educators in your team weekly. The structure of the planning set up changes from year to year depending on staff arrangements
- Staff room is comfortably set up providing a lounge, dining area and refreshments, creating a relaxing break atmosphere.
- Separate planning room with a desk for each group, plus a storage room with plenty of resources for enhancing programming and learning.

The Family Club is a homely learning environment for children aged 3 months - 5 years and includes an integrated Kindergarten program
We have a very strong and long history, of which we are very proud. Our history makes us not just a child care centre but a place of strength and character which has the spirit of the women who created it 57 years ago with a drive to develop an environment where children thrive, one of the first in Australia to provide care and education for families so that women could be supported to combine family and career. Our founders were vocal in advocating the importance of the education and care need for under 5's to thrive. This passion continues to be evident in the current day programs provided at The Family Club, programs that provide integrated teaching and learning approaches with high expectations for every child. Our pedagogy nurtures and fosters a love of learning with an acknowledgment of the critical role healthy social and emotional wellbeing plays in a childs overall development.

- 3 Educators covering breaks and days off
