Director/Nominated Supervisor- Teaching Position

 The Role: 

This is an incredible Nominated Supervisor and Teaching opportunity. The opportunity is full-time, 37.5 hours, across 5 days per week. It is a small centre, and the successful applicant will be an all-rounder who is confident in all things from being on the floor teaching, to preparing meals, to managing the accounts and more. We are looking for someone with passion, motivation and energy. Someone who absolutely loves Early Childhood Education, has a vision, and is able to execute their vision and lead a team . Our educational programs value the creative arts and connect with elements of significant philosophies and theories in early education, including the REA (Reggio Emilia Approach) and Howard Gardener’s multiple intelligences.

Key Responsibilities Include: 

● Inspire, mentor and lead a small team of educators, 

● Create, build, and maintain close links with families and the local community, 

● Increase occupancy at the service, 

● Manage the daily operations of the Centre, including administration, bookings, meal prep, budgets etc, 

● Rostering - staff scheduling, 

● Preparation for A&R,

● Ensure that all policies, procedures, and documentation is kept up to date and licensing requirements are met at all times, 

● Provide high-quality education and care throughout the centre. Some of the many Benefits:

● Minimum 2 years of experience in a 2IC or Director position, ● Good leadership qualities, 

● ECT or Diploma in Early Years Education - Must be verified to work in Australia, 

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ● Able to work 5 days a week 37.5 hours, 

● Up to date First Aid, CPR, Child Protection and WWCC, 

● Excellent knowledge of the EYLF & NQS
