Graduate Position Early Childhood Teacher

We are proud to provide a meticulously designed purpose- built Montessori space for the families of Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. Our centre flows around the beautiful natural outdoor environment. Classrooms are very open with an abundance of natural light. There is a seamless flow between the inside and outside environment.

 

We offer the first authentic under 3 years Montessori environment in the Hunter, aligned with Magda Gerber’s Educaring Approach, along with our two preschool rooms, providing outstanding education and care programs for children aged 3-6 years.

About the Role

As a Graduate ECT you will be mentored by both our Montessori Educational Leader and our qualified Montessori and ECT Teachers.  You will be given the opportunity to attend Montessori Workshops and complete the Montessori Diploma (paid by the company).

The role is a full time position working 38 hours per week Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am-5pm

Skills/Requirements

  • Early Childhood Teaching qualification (as recognised by ACECQA)
  • Practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and EYLF
  • Reliable, energetic Team player
  • Current Working with Children Check/First Aid qualification
