Cert 3 or Diploma Qualified Educator

Little Possums Early Years is a highly valued not for profit Community Centre based in Mundaring. We offer a unique service to our community, through care for 0-6 years in our mixed age room, and our very popular 3 year old Pre-Kindy program. Our operational hours are from 8.30am - 3.30pm, educator hours 8.15am - 4.00pm Monday to Friday, job share possible.

Our Centre is based in an idyllic setting, on the edge of the bush, nature is part of our environment. Our educators are a team of dedicated individuals who have all been part of the service for a number of years, giving stability to our families.

We are seeking a suitably qualified or training Cert 3 or Diploma Qualified Educator on a Contract Basis to cover Maternity leave for 8 months, and to become part of our friendly team, part-time hours a possibility.

The Role requirements:

• Either a Diploma or Cert 3 in Children's Services or working towards.
• Current WWCC
• Have experience in working in an early childhood setting.
• Good communication skills and the ability to form relationships with families, children and educators.
• Advantage in programming for all age groups
• Highly motivated, energetic and passionate about the industry.
• Understanding of the NQF
