About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Educator (Responsible Person) to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day operations of an assigned learning environment, lead a team of educators, and uphold the highest standards of education, safety, and compliance under the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

• Foster inclusive, culturally responsive, and engaging learning environments that reflect children’s interests and strengths.

• Maintain accurate documentation and assessments of children’s learning and development.

• Lead and mentor educators through reflective practice, professional guidance, and team collaboration.

• Uphold and model best practice in health, safety, and child protection standards.

• Engage families and the local community in meaningful partnerships that support children’s learning.

• Fulfil the Responsible Person role in the absence of the Nominated Supervisor/Director.

About You

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

• A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent approved by ACECQA).

• At least two years’ experience in a leadership or Lead Educator role.

• In-depth knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and EYLF.

• Excellent communication, organisational, and mentoring skills.

• Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).

• Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management certification.

• A genuine passion for high-quality early education and supporting both children and educators to thrive.
