Nursery Centre Director

We are seeking a full time Director who can assist with managing the team and ensuring smooth running of the Centre.

Tarella House on West Street is a homely 16 place Centre with two rooms, where small group play ensures quality care and education.

This would be a perfect opportunity for someone who is ready to take the next step and gain experience after an Assistant Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Have a genuine interest in promoting children's learning and well-being
  • Work to create positive and stimulating environments to support children
  • Observe and evaluate children's development and learning
  • Create and implement programming and planning for children
  • Liaise with children, families and educators in a positive and friendly manner
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

What we need from you:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood, ECT, or working towards.
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF).
  • Individuals will need to be passionate, enthusiastic, and committed to high-quality Early Childhood Education.
  • A current Working with Children’s Check (WWC).
  • Able to work well in a team environment.
  • Creativity to bring new ideas to the table, and to develop exciting projects for the children to explore.
