Paediatric Occupational Therapist

The Role Exciting career opportunities currently exist for a qualified and experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team, providing collaborative and inclusive Occupational Therapy programs within our Early Childhood Education and Care Services, training and education for families and staff and student supervision. The role is based at our Ashfield site. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Working with children (and their families) birth to school aged Provide training and education to families, early childhood professionals and community members Mentoring and professional development facilitation Active contribution to integrated, innovative early childhood programs Strong advocacy opportunities through professional development publications and presentation Essential Criteria Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy Current endorsement as a fully registered Occupational Therapist with AHPRA A minimum of 2 years’ paediatric Occupational Therapy experience Experience working within interdisciplinary teams Knowledge and experience in early childhood education and care services A valid NSW Working with Children Check Unrestricted working rights in Australia Desirable Criteria Practical knowledge of the Circle of Security framework or equivalent An understanding of National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework A commitment to children’s rights and social justice issues What we can offer Salary Packaging up to $15,900 Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Ongoing career development Dynamic, supportive team environment Access to professional development opportunities Competitive above award salary Application Please send your updated resume and a covering letter outlining your suitability for the role to careers@theinfantshome.org.au.
