Tweed Heads Child Care Educator Required

Northern Rivers In Home Care is a not for profit approved In Home Care Provider on the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers areas. In Home Child Care is an education funded by the Australian Government Department of Education. It is designed to help families who have no access to existing child care services or families whose circumstances mean that existing child care cannot meet their needs.

We are currently recruiting for a family in Tweed Heads, the care is for one 3 year old (no allergies or complex needs).  The 3 year old attends day care so will need drop off, at a child care service in Varsity Lakes, Queensland. A reliable car and drivers licence is required. The family is wanting an Educator that is reliable, flexible and has a min 2 years experience.  

Days:

Monday 5am to 8.30am

Wednesday 5am to 8.30am

Friday 5am to 8am 

Hourly rate:

$35.00 per hour (inclusive of Superannuation)

Start date:

ASAP

The successful applicant will have the following prerequisites:

• Certificate III in Children’s Services
• Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate - Childcare First Aid Training HLTAID0011 and HLTAID009
• Blue Card and Police Clearance
• Liability insurance (once successfully placed)
• Medical Clearance
• Child Protection (refresher required every 2 years)
• ABN (this role is for a self employed/contractor)
• Photo ID
• PRODA RA (the office will assist you with this)
• Be over the age of 18 years old.
