About your new role This is a newly created role which will see you support the OSHC Coordinator with the expanding Winston Hills Service. Providing, a fun, engaging, interactive and most importantly SAFE environment, you will be part of ratio on the floor working alongside and leading the educators during the day to day service. You can expect to have adequate resources to deliver the highest quality of service to the 150 + children we have in our care and their Families. You will continue to support the Coordinator whilst they continue to build a positive Stakeholder relationship with the Principal and wider school community. What else is involved Programing for the service based on the My Time Our Place Framework Assist Coordinator with Administration duties (If required) Easy to navigate QikkKids software for roles and bookings. (We have a Team that supports you with this) Liaise with families, bring a sense of community and continue to provide the highest quality of care to children Assist with Vacation Care Service during the School Holiday period To be successful in this role, you will have: A Certificate III and /or Diploma in Children Services desirable. 2 years' experience in a similar role, or experience leading others. Knowledge of NQF CHCPRT001 Identify and respond to children and young people at risk - Accredited Child Protection HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to children from a diverse range of backgrounds, experiences and groups.
