About the Service
ECTARC Alunga is a 44-place service providing early childhood education and care for children from birth to school age in Albion Park Rail.
The service practices the Circle of Security relationships model to develop partnerships with children and families based on mutual trust and respect. They are committed to quality outcomes for children and advocate for learning through play in an environment where they feel safe, valued and included. Educators work collaboratively to implement teaching strategies that are responsive to children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
About the Role
ECTARC Alunga is seeking an educator with a Certificate III qualification to work as part of a passionate and capable team who are committed to enriching the futures of young children. As an Early Childhood Worker, you will support educators to implement the program for children from 0 to 5 years.
Essential Criteria:
- Must have Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
- A Working with Children Check clearance number (or willing to obtain)
- Commitment to working as a team
- Effective communication
- skills
- Knowledge of current early childhood theories and practice & children’s services legislation
- 12 months experience working in children’s services
- Current First Aid Certificate
