5 Day Nanny Educator (15798) Lake Haven

Rate:  $38.76 - $43.66  (L3-Dip) per hour including Tax and Super (costs associated with Insurance & Workcover are taken care of by the Employer, who will also process your Tax and Super payments on your behalf)

5 days per week with a child aged 5 years
 

Monday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Tuesday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Wednesday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Thursday: 7:45 am - 11:45 am AND 2:15 pm - 6:15 pm
Friday: 6:45 am - 8:45 am AND 11:15 am - 6:15 pm

This family would like: 
Family located in the beautiful Lake Haven area is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Educator to join their household. The family is neurodiverse and would value an Educator who brings a calm, caring, and patient approach to their work. They would like an Educator who has some knowledge of Auslan but not essential.

The role involves supporting a vibrant and active child who enjoys engaging in activities such as block play, cars, water play, and nature walks. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in child development and a commitment to supporting the child's developmental milestones. You will also be expected to implement strategies and activities as guided by the family’s occupational therapist and speech therapist.

In addition to child-focused responsibilities, the family would appreciate assistance with improving organisational skills and establishing consistent structure and routines within the household.

You must: 
- Have obtained or are working towards your Certificate/Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care OR have a Bachelor teaching degree (early years or primary) and registered with the teaching authority board of the relevant state
- Be an experienced child care worker with at least 3 professional references.
- Have WWCC, Police Check, CPR and Level 2 First Aid
- Have a car & driver's licence
- Be willing to commit for at least 12 months
- Full working rights in Australia. (A range of visas may be considered depending on conditions and length of remaining stay - for example:  visa 190 or visa 186. Applicants with 417 & 462 visas need not apply.)
