About Us

Wind In The Willows is a boutique, 28-place centre where children—and authentic engagement—come first. We maintain an over-ratio model, allowing our educators to focus on genuine connections rather than paperwork. Leadership is provided by Director/Owner Kirsty Bonett, who holds a Bachelor of Education and multiple diplomas in early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a play-based program that reflects each child’s interests and developmental needs

• Build genuine, one-on-one relationships with children and their families

• Observe and document milestones in a meaningful, streamlined way

• Collaborate daily with a close-knit team on activities, routines and excursions

• Maintain a safe, nurturing indoor and outdoor environment

We’re Looking For

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or equivalent) – essential

• Current Working With Children Check, asthma and anaphylaxis training, and first aid certificate

• Exceptional English proficiency, both spoken and written

• Passion for child-centred practice over box-ticking compliance

• Positive attitude, strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit

• Australian work rights – please note we do not offer visa sponsorship
