6 Day Nanny Educator (15099) Lake Macdonald

6 days per week with children aged 11 years & 10 years
Rate:  $40.30 - $43.01 (L3) per hour including Tax and Super (costs associated with Insurance & Workcover are taken care of by the Employer, who will also process your Tax and Super payments on your behalf)

Monday: 3:15 pm - 6:45 pm
Tuesday: 3:15 pm - 6:45 pm
Wednesday: 3:15 pm - 6:45 pm
Thursday: 3:15 pm - 10:00 pm
Friday: 3:15 pm - 6:45 pm
Saturday: 6:30 am - 6:30 pm

A warm and welcoming family is seeking a kind-hearted and reliable educator to care for their two energetic children while Mum works and Dad is away for extended periods.
This is a sole care role, requiring someone who can confidently manage the children’s daily needs and routines, particularly after school.
The ideal candidate will be nurturing, organised, and able to support the children in settling in after their school day, helping to establish effective homework routines and providing a calm, consistent presence.
While experience with ADHD is preferred, it is not essential.
The position includes regular hours during the school term and increased availability during school holidays, Monday to Friday.
During the holidays, the family would love someone who can plan fun outings, park visits, and little adventures to keep the children engaged and active.
Every Saturday will involve transporting the children to scheduled weekend activities.
Light household duties related to the children will also be expected, such as preparing meals and snacks, cleaning up after mealtimes, and keeping play areas tidy.
A driver’s licence is essential for this role, and the educator will need to use their own vehicle.

You must: 
- Have obtained or are working towards your Certificate/Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care OR have a Bachelor teaching degree (early years or primary) and registered with the teaching authority board of the relevant state
- Be an experienced child care worker with at least 3 professional references.
- Have WWCC, Police Check, CPR and Level 2 First Aid
- Have a car & driver's licence
- Be willing to commit for at least 12 months
- Full working rights in Australia. (A range of visas may be considered depending on conditions and length of remaining stay - for example:  visa 190 or visa 186. Applicants with 417 & 462 visas need not apply.)
