Opportunity 1: Trainee Early Childhood Educator (Full-Time)

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our wonderful team as a Trainee Early Childhood Educator. This traineeship is designed for someone like you – you don't need any prior qualifications! You'll work full-time with us, gaining hands-on experience and learning invaluable skills, while we fully support you in studying for your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

What We're Looking For (Trainee Essential Criteria - no experience needed, just passion!):

  • Dedicated and committed to completing your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

  • Eager to learn and grow in a professional environment.

  • Have effective communication and interpersonal skills – you love talking to people!

  • A real team player who is happy to help out where needed.

  • Hold a current approved Working With Children Check (WWCC), or be willing to get one (we can guide you on this).

  • Comfortable using basic computer programs (like Microsoft Word) and iPads, or keen to learn.

As a casual educator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of care and education we provide, supporting our permanent team, and enriching the learning experiences of our 3-5-year-old children. This role offers the flexibility to fit your schedule while working in a truly nurturing and collaborative environment.

What We're Looking For (Experienced Casual Essential Criteria):

  • Hold a Certificate III, Diploma, or Bachelor's qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.

  • Minimum of 1 year proven experience working with children aged 3-5 in an early childhood setting.

  • Demonstrated understanding and ability to implement the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).

  • Ability to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, age-appropriate educational activities.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

  • Reliable, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a team or independently.

  • Hold a current approved Working With Children Check (WWCC).

  • Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain).

  • Comfortable using basic computer programs (like Microsoft Word) and iPads.

  • Supporting the team in keeping records of children's learning and development.

  • Building positive relationships with the children, their families, and your colleagues.

  • Ensuring the health and safety of all children, following important guidelines and child-safe standards.

  • Participating in team meetings and taking part in valuable training sessions.
