Cert 3 or Diploma trained Early Childhood Educator

Green Umbrella OSHC is seeking a mature and passionate Early Childhood educator who is happy to work part-time for 5 hours a day for three days (Tuesday to Thursday) a week. This position requiring either a Cert 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or working towards). The educator will work across both Kinma Preschool and Green Umbrella OSHC to facilitate the integration of 3, 4 and 5 year old children into out of school hours care. Kinma Preschool and Primary school have been providing high quality progressive education for over 50 years, based in Terrey Hills and Green Umbrella OSHC was started by parents in 2019 to provide after school care with the same approach. Both Green Umbrella OSHC and Kinma Preschool are rated as Exceeding the National Quality Standards.

Qualifications required:

 - Either Cert 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent (ACECQA approved) or working towards
- Current approved first aid qualification HLTAID012
- Current working with children clearance number
- Child Protection qualification CHCPRT025 (ACECQA approved)

- Either Cert 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent (ACECQA approved) or working towards

- Child Protection qualification CHCPRT025 (ACECQA approved)
- Teamwork, leadership qualities and demonstrated ability to undertake the role of Responsible Person
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- A working knowledge of both My Time our Place and Belonging, Being & Becoming
- Demonstrated high level of ethical and professional behaviour, including collaboration and
confidentiality
- Available for all three afternoons
- Collaborate with the Nominated Supervisor to plan and implement high-quality educational,
innovative, and inclusive programs in an after-school care setting
- Understand progressive education or a willingness to learn
- Have an ability to relate well and work collaboratively with children aged 4 to 13 years, their
families, and your work colleagues
