OOSH Team Leader

We are searching for a OOSH Team Leader (Responsible Person) to lead our amazing Out of School Hours Care team at Intereach in Barham. This will be a casual job share position.

As Out of School Hours (OOSH) Team Leader you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations at the Service, ensuring the delivery of quality care, leading the team, ensuring compliance and building and maintaining strong relationships with the children, families, and colleagues.

This position has been classified under the Children Services Award as Level 4.1 with an hourly rate of $33.12 (can be negotiated depending on qualification) + Superannuation + Salary Packaging.

What we’re looking for

The successful applicant will have an enthusiastic & engaging approach to childcare, well-developed leadership skills, computer skills, excellent time management and organisation skills, with the ability to form positive relationships. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear more about you.

We require the following:

  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Child Care and Education
  • Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Criminal Record Check (Intereach will organise and support with the completion of this, which will be facilitated by our chosen provider)
  • Current Accredited First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates (HLTAID012 – in an education and care setting) (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Accredited CPR (HLTAID009) (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current PRODA registration identification number (or willingness to obtain)
  • CHCPRT025 Identify and respond to children and young people at risk (or willingness to obtain)
  • Food handling certificate (or willingness to obtain)
