2 Day Nanny Educator (15929) Croydon

2 days per week with children aged 8 years & 5 years
Rate:  Rate:  $37.84 - $42.65 (L1-L3) per hour including Tax and Super (costs associated with Insurance & Workcover are taken care of by the Employer, who will also process your Tax and Super payments on your behalf)

Monday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

This family would like: 
We are seeking a warm, experienced and adaptable Educator to support a wonderful neurodiverse child.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working with children on the autism spectrum, along with a strong understanding of sensory processing needs and the ability to recognise and respond appropriately to sensory overload.
A calm, patient, flexible and responsive approach is essential in creating a safe, predictable and supportive environment where the child feels secure and understood.
An understanding or general interest of pathological demand avoidance strategies will be highly regarded, including the ability to reduce pressure, use collaborative communication styles, support autonomy, and adapt expectations based on the child’s presentation and regulation needs throughout the day.
The child has a range of wonderful interests including Kpop, Roblox, learning different languages, science and hands-on experiments.
The successful Educator will be confident incorporating these interests into engaging learning experiences that support the child’s development, curiosity and emotional wellbeing.
The family home includes a therapy swing within the living area, which forms part of the child’s sensory regulation supports.
The family also have one friendly dog in the home.
There may be an opportunity for ad hoc Saturdays.

DRIVING REQUIRED

You must: 
- Either be working towards or hold a Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care or other IHC relevant ACECQA approved qualifications e.g. Bachelor Primary Education and are registered with relevant state authority boa
- Provide at least 3 references.
- Have WWCC, Police Check, CPR and Level 2 First Aid
- Have a car & driver's licence
- Be willing to commit for at least 12 months
- Full working rights in Australia. (A range of visas may be considered depending on conditions and length of remaining stay - for example:  visa 190 or visa 186. Applicants with 417 & 462 visas need not apply.)
