Centre Supervisor / Educational Leader – Diploma Qualified

We are a family-owned early childhood centre located in the Hurstville area, currently seeking an experienced and passionate Centre Supervisor / Educational Leader to join our team.  

Our service caters for 40 children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, in a warm, supportive, and welcoming environment.  About the Role  This is a leadership position suited to an experienced early childhood professional who is passionate about providing high-quality education and care.

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operations of the centre while leading and mentoring educators to maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for children.  As the Centre Supervisor / Educational Leader, you will:

  1.  Support the Approved Provider and Nominated Supervisor with daily centre operations.
  2. Lead and mentor educators to deliver high-quality educational programs
  3. Oversee curriculum planning, documentation, and reflective practices
  4. Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), EYLF, and regulations Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and the community
  5. Promote a strong culture of child safety, wellbeing, and inclusion Assist with staff support, rostering, and daily organisation when required
  6. Maintain high standards of health, safety, and hygiene
  7. Contribute to continuous improvement and Assessment & Rating readiness Work alongside a dedicated, qualified, and collaborative team of educators                  Essential Requirements
  8. Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
  9. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a leadership or supervisory role
  10. Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  11. Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates Current Child Protection / Child Safety Certificate
  12. Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQF, and Child Care Regulations
  13. Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong mentoring skills and passion for children’s learning and development .                                                                         What We Offer
