Private Nannies required

Sydney North Shore Nannies was established in 2016 to provide local families with trustworthy and reliable childcare. Since its inception, Sydney North Shore has worked with over 600 families assisting in finding them their perfect nanny.

Available positions:

Full Time – Wahroonga:

10 month girl

Days and hours of work:

  • Monday to Friday: 8am6pm (flexibility may be required on longer days and busier weeks and hours can be flexible 9am-5pm). Additional weekend work is available.

Duties:

  • Engage in ageappropriate play
  • Accompany on walks and to activities (swimming lessons)
  • Follow feeding and nap routines
  • Undertake light meal prep and housework (general tidying, laundry and so on)

Driving not essential.

ASAP commencement.

Part Time – Neutral Bay: 3yo and 5yo girls

Days and hours of work:

  • Wednesday + Thursday: 12pm – 7pm
  • Friday: 3pm to 10pm (ideally; however, family is flexible for the right person)
  • Potential for Tuesdays (12pm – 7pm)
  • Flexibility and reliability are essential due to work schedules

Duties:

  • Supervise and engage in ageappropriate play
  • Pick 3yo from daycare (usually 3pm, although pick up times can vary – will advise in advance); 5yo will attend extracurricular activities after school with pick up times to be confirmed.
  • Assist with meal preparation and cooking dinner (where required); complete light housework, general tidying, laundry along with keeping children’s play areas clean and tidy
  • Follow evening routines.

Driving is preferred.

Part Time – Wahroonga: 10yo, 10yo and 7yo boys (after school care)

Days and hours of work:

  • Monday to Thursday: 3:15pm to 6:45pm

Duties:

  • Pick up children from school at Wahroonga at 3:15pm.
  • Assist with homework and provide supervision
  • Prepare healthy afternoon snacks along with children’s dinner
  • Transport to soccer training once a week
  • Light housework (where required)

Driving required.

Casual – Epping: 2-month-old girl

Days and hours of work:

  • Adhoc as needed

Must have extensive experience with infants.

Duties:

  • Follow sleep and feeding routines
  • Engage in ageappropriate play
  • Assist with meal preparation
  • Light housework, laundry  

Driving not required.

Role requirements

You will be a great fit if you are experienced, warm, kind and reliable. You will also be passionate about working with young children and supporting their growth and development. Initiative and a proactive attitude are a must.

You will also need:

  • Demonstrated experience in early childhood education or private nannying.
  • Warmth and engaging demeanour who can connect with young children.
  • Early childhood qualifications (including infant related training and care)
  • Police check and working with children’s check.
  • A current Provide First Aid and CPR certificate.
  • Two recent childrelated references.
