3 DAY IHC EDUCATOR - ECEC (15959) NARRE WARREN
Rate: $41.94 - $47.28 (L1-L3) per hour including Tax and Super (costs associated with Insurance & Workcover are taken care of by the Employer, who will also process your Tax and Super payments on your behalf)
3 days per week with a child aged 2 years
Monday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Tuesday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Wednesday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Thursday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Friday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Flex with days and times (any 3 days Monday-Friday)

We are seeking a warm, engaging and adaptable Educator to provide high-quality care and learning experiences within the family home. The family is looking for someone who enjoys creating plenty of fun, age-appropriate activities that support the child’s development and help them work towards important growth and learning milestones. There will also be lots of opportunities to get out and about in the local community, including trips to the park, library story time, playgroup and other suitable activities.
The household is immunocompromised, so maintaining excellent hygiene practices and being mindful of your own health is particularly important. The Educator will need to communicate openly if they are unwell or have been exposed to illness, helping to keep the family environment as safe as possible.
A consistent routine is important for the child, however some flexibility is also needed. Medication can occasionally affect the child’s mood, behaviour or energy levels, so the ideal Educator will be calm, patient and confident adjusting plans when needed. Someone who can follow the routine while also knowing when to go with the flow will be a great fit. Above all, the family is looking for someone nurturing and reliable who can create a fun, supportive environment where the child can learn, explore and thrive.
DRIVING REQUIRED
You must:
- Either be working towards or hold a Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care or other IHC relevant ACECQA approved qualifications e.g. Bachelor Primary Education and are registered with relevant state authority board.
- Provide at least 3 references.
- Have WWCC, Police Check, CPR and HLTAID012 First Aid
- Have a car & driver's licence
- Be willing to commit for at least 12 months
- Full working rights in Australia. (A range of visas may be considered depending on conditions and length of remaining stay - for example: visa 190 or visa 186. Applicants with 417 & 462 visas need not apply.)
