Before you leave early childhood, give us a chance!
Worried About Job Security in Early Childhood? Find Stability With Us!
Have you had a difficult experience working in early childhood? Are you worried about job security, feeling undervalued or even considering leaving the industry altogether?
With so much uncertainty across the early childhood sector, we understand that job security is becoming increasingly important. Educators deserve to feel confident in their employment, supported by their leadership team and able to plan for their future without constantly worrying about what might happen next.
Before you make that decision, we'd love you to meet us.
You shouldn't have to give up a career you love because you haven't found the right workplace. You deserve to feel valued, supported and secure in a role where you can focus on what matters most: making a difference in children's lives.
Who are we?
We're a privately owned, family-run business operating two established early learning services, Puzzlez in Padstow and Scribblz in Picnic Point.
We're proud to have educators who have been with us for 5, 10, 15 years and beyond. For us, that's about more than staff retention. It's about creating a workplace where people feel valued, supported and want to stay.
We're not a large corporate organisation. We know our team, value their contribution and want our educators to build long-term careers with us.
What can we offer you?
- Stability: Permanent employment with a genuine focus on long-term job security.
- Consistent hours: Minimum 30-hour contracts, with our team generally working 37.5 hours across five days.
- Above-award wages: With opportunities for further increases based on performance and experience.
- Supportive, hands-on leadership: Our leaders know you as an individual, understand your strengths and are there to support you. They're not just sitting behind a desk…. they're out on the floor working alongside you, supporting the team and helping wherever they're needed.
- No casual educator model: We value consistency for our educators, children and families.
- Extra educators beyond ratio: Giving our team more opportunity to engage with children and focus on quality education and care.
- Work-life balance: RDOs, time off in lieu where applicable, early finishes when possible and a three-week Christmas closure.
- A supportive team: We work together, listen to our educators and value a positive workplace culture.
Who are we looking for?
We're looking for Certificate III or Diploma-qualified Educators who are passionate about working with children and want to be part of a stable, supportive team.
You might love early childhood but have lost your confidence in the industry after a difficult workplace experience. You might be looking for somewhere you can finally settle, feel appreciated and stop worrying about what comes next.
Whatever has brought you to this point, we'd love the opportunity to meet you.
Before you leave early childhood, come and see what working with us could look like.
Meet our team, explore our environments and have a chat with us. There's no pressure - just an opportunity to see whether we're the right fit for you.
If you're ready for a fresh start, we'd love to hear from you!
