We have a permanent position for a Certificate 3 Trainee educator to join our team. Immediate start.
Days of Work: Monday to Friday
Hours of work: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
About Us
The Children’s Preschool is in Glenhaven, next to Kellyville and Castle Hill, and next door to Glenhaven Public School.
The service has a professional, kind, and supportive team that provides quality education and cares for 39 children aged 3 - 6 years. We operate from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday to Friday for 49 weeks.
There is an emphasis on creating a home-like environment where children feel like they belong and are encouraged to play, discover and learn. We have a close-knit and supportive community of educators, families, and children.
We provide a daily outdoor/indoor program in an expansive 1154 sq metre natural setting, with natural grass, a well-established Bush Tucker garden, fruit trees, and a mud kitchen we all care for.
We have aesthetically pleasing, ample light, light-filled indoor play spaces.
We are a well-resourced service with abundant learning materials to support a quality education and care program.
We choose to have a multi-aged learning environment, which enables children to learn from one another and have quality interactions with all educators.
Selection Criteria for this position:
Legislative
- Certificate 3 qualification in Education and Care
- Current First Aid and Asthma/Anaphylaxis Certificate
- Current Working with Children Clearance check
- Current Child Protection training and understanding of Mandatory Reporting procedures.
- Sound understanding of the NQF, EYLF
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations
- Authorization to work in Australia
For our Service
- Must have a sound knowledge of play-based environments
- Must like the great outdoors and have an interest in sustainability and nature.
- Able to support team leaders in their programming and planning
Other - Must have own transport

About The Children's Preschool
Our boutique preschool is a hidden gem located at the Glenhaven Community Centre within The Hills Shire in North Western Sydney.
We operate Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, 48 weeks a year. We are an approved provider, therefore childcare benefit and childcare rebate are available to eligible families.We provide a small personalised service for families. We are 30 place centre offering education and care for children aged between 3 to 6 years. We are conveniently located next door to Glenhaven Public School and less than a 15 minute drive from surrounding suburbs in The Hills Shire and surrounding suburbs.
